Tell us about this collection

« Since I first started organising my holistic retreats in France and Portugal, I’ve often been asked to launch my own loungewear brand. But the idea of creating garments made of new, polluting fabrics has always been a turn-off. When Engton told me about their sustainable approach, using existing fabrics, I immediately came on board. »

Did the vibrant and colourful unisex range strike a chord?

« Engton gave me free rein. As a firm believer in the virtues of chromotherapy, I’m convinced that the soothing pastels and playful characters on the drop collection have the power to influence our mood. A bit like a comforter that’s the first thing you reach for in the morning. »

So you can never be too comfortable?

« I’m often told that I offer a laid-back approach to yoga. To be effective, yoga doesn’t necessarily have to be about striking sensational poses. I feel the same way about clothes and can’t stand that feeling of squeezing my stomach into tight jeans. Most of the pieces have been designed to be completely laid-back »

Who is Coco Rainbow, the creator of this drop?

A former model who now works as a yoga instructor, Constance Charloux, aka Coco Rainbow, teaches a solar and very inclusive style of yoga from her home in Cascais in Portugal. Like the colours of the rainbow, a nod to her yogi name, the postures she uses as part of her Hatha and Vinyasa Flow classes are all invitations to reinvent daily life.
